True, certain jobs do rely more on first
impressions. Sales and every other job implying direct contact with
clients or partners.

I think looks matter depending on the profession you are in. Eg: sales.

Yeah, sometimes looks or appearance acts like a
hook. Like a good headline for an article. But if the article then
disappoints, the original hook is wasted.

Looks matters, I am with everyone else’s opinion on
this one. It matters tot the point that it can represent that gimmick
that makes people to want to discover the rest of you. At times,I
completely neglect my looks and that is not a plus, makes my inside
feel gloomy.

If God created people beautiful He did it for a
purpose. So yes, “looks” matter, because they are the gift from our
creator. Now, what we do about these looks (the package) whether we let
them influence our best judgement, it’s something else…
Nothing happens without a reason in this World. My answer to your
question would be: everything matters. And that’s why we need to
respect everything, including the deceiving appearances, because by
learning how to respect everything we will get to the essence of the
things faster.
