What do you mean when you say that someone “pitched” your blog? Did they link to it? I see no reason for someone not to link or mention your old blog – it was pretty good as far as I remember.

To me a Dead Blog is like a time capsule, it stands alone, independent of all that has followed since it's passing. Making the reader into a kind of cultural archaeologist... They can be so funny, whilst also too tragic for words, becoming very addictive but at the same time kinda depressing. Some would say they are just 'Cyberspace Junk' cluttering up the internet & should be removed...but what do you think? I've dedicated my blog to its failures & triumphs. great article..especially if you’re trying to build relationships with other bloggers/writers- always make sure you check to see when their last post was made as well as how often they tend to post- this should help you gauge whether or not you’ll be wasting your time
