I did connect with people I did not know, but we shared common interests: were in the same groups, worked in similar fields etc. Just connecting with someone for the fun of it might work, but it won&#039;t bring you much.</description>

Don&#039;t get me wrong I prefer quality over quantity, but I got my job through Linkedin and having lots of different contact helped in spreading the word that I was actually looking for one.
