Alina, these are wonderful plans but I most love your final words "whenever you are unable to keep up with the schedule you’ve made for yourself (due to several issues), you should stop blaming yourself and try again!" Mig, I know metrics are not important, but I got so used to monitor them over the years (almost 4)of blogging, I can’t let it go. What I care about more is the comments, the relationships with my readers and that’s about it. the rest is just some fun bling-bling.

This is a very bold list, Alina. I know you didn't really ask for an opinion, but let me tell you that a PR5 is a great achievement and that you don't need to stress over that this year. Links will have less importance for Google in 2009 - I think you are aware of Search Wiki. Google goes social... at least this is what most of SEO analysts agree with. Google PR is obsolete. All other metrics... are irrelevant as well. What is really important is how many and how long your visitors stay on site. About Kyla... I am praying for you and for her. I know what this means - my dog Onyx suffered of the same thing and despite 3 surgical interventions he was not cured. He is still alive though, happy with the love he receives.
