Karen, given your imagination and your power to inspire people, I'd say you're free to virtually go anywhere :)

Robert, I know what you mean. Traveling for business and the occasional leisure trips I plan are my way of temporarily changing location. And yes, the people I meet are always helping me learn and expand what I know.

Annie, looks like your heard and dreams do a great job of making you happy! And that is the spirit of freedom, isn't it? No matter what, we're able to choose where our soul resides.

Alina, I know what you mean, although my work keeps me location dependent - while I'm at that particular job. It's just that I tend to work "in the field", so to speak - at project sites. In this way, I've been privileged to live and work all over the place - US and World.

It's given me a chance to broaden my horizons, expand my viewpoint, and brush shoulders with various cultures in such a way I could never have done had I simply stayed in one place.

No matter where I am, I tend to, well, LIVE, if you get my meanin'. It's the only way to experience life to the fullest! (But I'll always, be a Texan!)

Alina, such beautiful thoughts that capture the heart of living with joy. Freedom is choice! Your words are so melodic and heartfelt here. I would love to be location independent, untethered and free to go wherever the heart led. As you said, it does not matter where you physically are, home is truly within the heart and soul.

Joanna, I can still scare up a few famous quotes it seems :D Yes, it is, it's something we all need to learn, otherwise we get too attached to things that really mean nothing.

Lillie, feeling at home exactly where you are is something a lot of people dream of. The freedom to choose is more important than the choices, you are so right!

Alina,

How great is it that we get to choose! You like the freedom to move ... I, too, like the freedom but have moved only once in my life. I grew up on a farm, temporarily stayed in the dorm in college, and married right after college and moved into the house my husband and I have lived in for 42 years. I love working from home—I would never want to have to go to an office or store to work. But I have no desire to live anywhere other than where I am right now.

Of course, I also live on the Internet. :-)

I'm so glad to see you writing in Latin again :-)

You're right, it doesn't matter where we live, so long as we're happy, and feel connected.

It's an important lesson, thank you.
