I sometimes accept paid entries, sponsorships and I also run Google ads on my blogs (for now, I still have second thoughts on this issue). I try to keep paid insertion numbers as low as possible. Some reviews may be written just to promote a business I believe in, an interesting project of a friend or cool stuff I work on ( at AXIGEN or in my spare time). Others such reviews can be written on request.
I am quite picky, however. And I have a thing for rejecting those requesting a positive review. I always find something that can be improved and I believe saying it might help. I also have problems when I am forced to shut up 
My expertise ranges from marketing and public relations to tourism related issues. I also know quite a few things about IT, especially when it comes to security.
